From first date to engagement: 29 days! 8 years, 5 cars, 6 houses, 2 fish and 3 kids later, we're still as happy as we were then and hoping for fifty more awesome years together.

Ugh, another deployment
Ben left on Wednesday for Japan. I cried. Ben cried. Eli and Carli cried. Sammy was bewildered. We miss him a lot.
down side- it is getting cold and kids are driving us nuts (well at least mine are) Up side there is is ton to do with the enrichment activity coming up, holidays to plan (don't think about the fact that he will miss some) Read your favorite conference talks over and over for strength and... oh-ya LET YOUR FRIENDS HELP YOU!!! stay positive!!! you can do it!
I hope this deployment goes quickly for you and the kids. I've said it before, but I'll say it again, I wish I could come visit you again and help out (or just hang out!!=)) Let's chat on facebook soon! Miss you!
Luella--I'm mom to 3 awesome kids and wife to one great husband. I enjoy reading, working out, cooking, and all things French. This blog is our way of sharing a little bit of our family with the world. Thanks for checking us out!
Ben is the head of our house and a great dad. He's also a Staff Sergeant in the USAF and loves his job. He likes to read, play with the kids, and spend time with me! He's very thoughtful (does the dishes almost every night!) and a great husband.
Elijah (6) We love Eli! He is such a good big brother. He loves to watch Ben10, play computer games, jump on the trampoline with Dad and make chocolate chip cookies. He's very smart and imaginative. We love having him around!
Carli (4) is our little princess. She loves to color and her favorite color is pink. She loves to organize things, especially small items. She's very clever (sometimes sneaky!) and her smile makes all of us happy. We love our Carli Pants!
Sammy (15 mos) is our baby. He's very happy and agreeable, we love having him around!

Crappy! I'm sorry Luella. At least Ben can visit with the Jones family. How long is he gone?
